OK, put your head through here and if you stay still I’ll give you a cookie. Not you, grandma, sorry. Whoa, what did I say? Quit hitting me!

OK, this is one of those instance where the images are so powerful I couldn’t give two hoots about the artist’s intentions.

Gotta love babies.

Nice to see classicism all moderned up with some nice formal surrealist elements. On a completely tangential note, with no shortage of original visual styles like this, it sure makes it obvious how straightlaced live action movies are these days. I know they cost a lot to make, but wow, it’s like they’re completely unprocessed and all shot with the crappy filterless 50mm lense that came with the camera.

Dude, you made my day. These are all oil paintings. Nice to be graced by images from a master.

Ms. Lino dubs herself an experimental photographer. She’s from Portugal, one of the 99.999% of the world I have never been.

Rune Olsen

Rune Olsen does his works in “mixed media”, which translates as “graphite, masking tape, blue mannequin eyes, newspaper, wire, steel and UV-Resistant acrylic medium”. His subjects and titles are, well, I guess the best word for them would be “ballsy”.

Why do so many amazing surrealist artists have such killer technique. Perhaps it is because, like Greg “Craola” Simkins, they get bored easily and keep developing despite themselves.
